Laney held their First Annual Juried Student (Art) Show and two (2) students were awarded the Norma Hongisto Fine Art Scholarship on May 8th.

With a background in writing, her pursuits led to an interest in journalism, eventually covering her local community with Oakland North, as part of her Masters in Journalism program at the UC Berkeley School of Journalism.
