Laney held their First Annual Juried Student (Art) Show and two (2) students were awarded the Norma Hongisto Fine Art Scholarship on May 8th.

Investing in tomorrow’s leaders is what The Sisson-Blackwell Scholarship for Success aims to do!
In partnership with the Peralta Colleges Foundation, this past May, Counselor Kimberly Blackwell launched “The Sisson-Blackwell Scholarship for Success.” For her this was a dream come true. She had always wanted to do more — the scholarship will serve students in three areas, pre-nursing program, formerly or currently incarcerated, and students transferring to an HBCU.
