Chancellor's Trophy Award
Peralta Colleges Foundation enthusiastically supports the students at Peralta Colleges, sharing scholarship opportunities to ease the financial burden and allow students more time to focus on studying. We are proud of Crystal and the excellence she personifies as she represents Berkeley City College and Peralta Colleges. We wish Crystal and all Peralta students all the success as they continue their pursuit of higher education and career goals.
To be considered for the Chancellor’s Trophy Award, students must apply for the President’s Medallion Award by completing the Peralta Colleges Foundation Scholarship Application located on the scholarship portal, https://pcf.scholarships.ngwebsolutions.com/. The application is open from October 1st – March 1st each year.
Each campus President Medallion Award recipient (at Berkeley City College, College of Alameda, Laney College & Merritt College) will be considered for the Chancellor’s Trophy Award.

- It is an unbelievable honor to be awarded the 2024 Chancellor’s Trophy. When I started attending Berkeley City College straight out of high school, I was unsure of myself in many ways. I leaned heavily on the district's resources to explore my interests and not only found my passion for business, but my voice in advocacy. In these past two years, I’ve learned so much from collaborating with faculty, administration, and fellow students on projects and events to improve our community. Being active in the Peralta district has been rewarding in itself, so being recognized as this year's trophy winner is an immense privilege. I’m so thankful for Chancellor Gilkerson’s belief in me. I hope to pay her kindness and mentorship forward as I transfer into UC Berkeley and pursue a career in business.
