BIG change for Scholarships!

The Peralta Colleges Foundation spent the summer collecting feedback, insights and perspectives across the district in order to create a scholarship process that is more accessible to our students. We are energized to share the new scholarship strategy that provides more funding opportunities for students. These exciting changes are a result of feedback from all four colleges and the district, and collecting best practices from our community college foundation colleagues across the state.

Moving forward, the Peralta Colleges Foundation will have one scholarship cycle* that aligns with FAFSA and best practices. We have also streamlined the application so that students only need to submit one application* instead of many mini applications. We believe these shifts will help support our students access more funds so that they can meet their academic and career goals.

The Peralta Colleges scholarship application has a NEW timeline this year and will open on Monday October 1, 2018. Students can apply for scholarships for the 2018-2019 academic year beginning October 1, 2018 through March 1, 2019.
