Marco Lindsey is a Diversity First ™ certified diversity, equity, & inclusion and belonging leader with deep expertise in human resources, community activism, and anti-racism. His extensive experience advising executives, coaching leaders, managers and employees, and designing & implementing HR solutions across both the public and private sector.
Marco has worked as the Associate Director of Diversity Equity and Inclusion at the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business. He was the first African American Chief of Staff at Berkeley Haas, and he is also an alumni of the school’s Executive Education program. Prior to attending Berkeley Haas, Marco graduated from the Peralta Colleges in Northern California.
Marco also co-authored the school’s Diversity Equity and Inclusion Action Plan in 2018 and prior to that, helped the school codify its “Four Defining Principles” that have shaped its culture for the past decade.
In 2017, Marco received congressional recognition from Councilwoman Barbara Lee for his work in promoting diversity in the tech sector. Marco Lindsey is an educator and public speaker, and has worked with dozens of organizations to promote belonging and inclusion in the workplace.
