Happy New Year, Peralta!
Today, we are launching our 2019 PeraltaGives employee giving campaign – providing Peralta administrators, faculty, and staff the opportunity to further support the needs of the students we serve at College of Alameda, Berkeley City College, and Laney and Merritt colleges.
Your contributions will benefit Peralta’s All-in-for-Students 2019 Scholarship Fund. Last year, the Foundation was able to award close to $92,000 in scholarships to our students.
Of the $92,000, close to $10,000 was possible by the support of our employee donors. This year 2019, our goal is do even better, and we need you behind us!
Now is your opportunity to review or choose your 2019 tax deductible contribution level and help support the students we see on our campuses every workday, as well as others who want that opportunity to pursue higher education. Donating is easy. You can make recurring/monthly gifts through payroll deduction (see form attached), or a one-time gift via online (Click here) or by sending a check to: Peralta Colleges Foundation, 333 East 8th Street, Oakland CA 94606.
Since our inception in 1971, the Peralta Colleges Foundation has enhanced the intellectual, cultural, and educational needs of our students, faculty and staff, by providing $150,000 worth of scholarships, supporting the professional development of faculty and staff, and fostering innovation in the educational programs.
Plus, when you pledge $25 or more per month, you will receive our PeraltaGives ceramic piggy bank as our special gift (until supplies last).
We surely hope you will join the Peralta friendship circle and support this year’s PeraltaGives campaign. On behalf of the Peralta Colleges Foundation, we thank you for your generosity and ongoing support of our students.
Sincerely,
LaNiece Jones
